Dompok - Herbie's towering valet and bodyguard. Good friends with Kenville, and often takes on copilot duties. A test tube person grown to have exquisite beauty, reflexes, and coordination. She was raised in the East Acidic Ocean Parentless Child Centre, on the highest volcano of the Stream Island Ring, where she learned all kinds of martial arts, languages, and crafts. She went straight from the Centre to Herbie's contract, following her around the world. Herbie doesn't like standing next to her mighty servant, so unless she's scouting an obviously dangerous location, she keeps Dompok on the plane. Dompok and Kenville have been waiting for days now for Herbie to come back.
Dompok's physiology
- Thick smooth skin is as tough as seamless bark; she can easily put her hand in a deep fryer with no consequences
- Kicks like a mule; can outmuscle a helicopter or tractor [can disable a car in a single strike to the engine]
- Sweat glands produce a toxic resinous coolant gel; doesn't sweat until internal temperature exceeds 380° F
- Unflappable personality, smells like pinecones
- Projected lifespan: 450 years, and she should continue growing stronger continuously
